Build a solid line of defense for production safety to ensure the smooth construction of the project--PUTIAN successfully held a series of activities of “Safety Production Month”

In order to deeply implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discussions and instructions on work safety, and to solidly carry out the series of activities for the 2025 National Work Safety Month, at the beginning of this month, Putian Company held a grand launching ceremony for the 2025 “Safety Production Month” activities at the project construction headquarters. All the staff of Putian Company and representatives of the terminal project EPC design and construction units, such as CCCC Second Harbor Consultants Co., Ltd., CCCC First Harbor Engineering Company Limited, and PMC Wood Zone Co., Ltd, also participated in the activity. With the theme of “everyone talks about safety, every one knows how to respond to emergencies - seek out hidden safety dangers around you", they jointly kicked off the prelude to the series of activities of the Work Safety Month.

At the launching ceremony, Putian Deputy General Manager Liu Dianmin led all the staff to sign the safety commitment, and advocated that all staff build a solid production safety defense line and take the initiative to be steadfast upholders of the safety concept and practitioners of safety production.

In line with the principle of “prevention before occurrence”, the company's Safety, Quality and Environmental Protection Department organized the company and the relevant personnel of the participating units to establish a safety inspection team, which went deep into the office area and the project construction site to carry out an all-round safety inspection, focusing on the operational status of equipment and facilities, the availability of fire-fighting facilities, the safety of electricity and gas, safety protection and other aspects. For the hidden dangers found during the inspection, the inspection team put forward rectification opinions on the spot, clarified the person responsible for rectification and the rectification period, and required the relevant responsible person to take effective measures for rectification immediately to ensure that the hidden dangers were eliminated in a timely manner, so as to leave no dead corner or blind area, and to ensure that production and construction proceeded in a safe and orderly manner.

In order to enhance the staff's awareness of fire safety and improve their ability to deal with fire accidents, the company organized a fire extinguishing drill and evacuation drill at the project construction headquarters. The drill simulated the scene of a fire in flammable materials at the construction site. After receiving the alarm call from the site, the emergency commanders immediately made instructions, and the evacuation and rescue teams responded quickly and carried out the evacuation and fire fighting in an orderly manner in accordance with the predetermined emergency plan. The whole drill process was intense and orderly, with each group having a clear division of labor and demonstrating tacit cooperation, achieving the expected effect of the drill.

In the safety knowledge competition of “Safety Production Month”, the participants competed vigorously and answered the questions fluently, with solid safety knowledge reserves and in high spirits, creating a good atmosphere of “promoting learning through competition”, and effectively improving the safety management level of the staff.

Employees have said that through the month-long series of activities in various forms for the production safety month, they systematically studied production safety regulations and operating norms, became proficient in the correct use of various fire extinguishers and evacuation techniques, built a solid foundation for production safety, and integrated the concept of “everyone emphasizes safety, everyone is capable of emergency response” into their daily work, effectively enhancing their emergency response capabilities.

Next, the company will take this series of activities as an opportunity to promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of production safety, build a solid production safety defense line, so that the concept of safety takes root in people's hearts, puts safety practices into effect, to ensure that the construction of the project is carried out smoothly.
