Hanas Group: Keeping in Mind the Entrustment, Shouldering Responsibilities, and Staying the Course to Build an Unimpeded Energy "Expressway" for Ningxia

Over the years, backed by the strong push of national strategies, Hanas Group has always kept pace with the CPC Ningxia Committee and the People's Government of Ningxia. With unwavering commitment and perseverance, the Group has planned from a high starting point, constructed with high standards, and advanced the laying of the natural gas pipeline network with high quality. It has invested a total of 7 billion yuan to build 780 kilometers of long-distance transmission pipelines and over 3,300 kilometers of urban high, medium, and low-pressure gas distribution pipelines, creating an unimpeded energy "expressway" for Ningxia's green and low-carbon development.

Promote major steps in the construction of the "Gasification of Ningxia" project

The 13th Five-Year Plan and the 14th Five-Year Plan of the autonomous region clearly stated the need to form a stable and sufficient supply pattern with multiple channels and gas sources. This is not only a major development plan of the CPC Ningxia Committee and the People's Government of Ningxia, but also a top priority for Hanas Group. For two decades, Hanas Group has consistently translated government directives into immediate action, dedicating itself to building the gas supply network within the region and effectively bridging the "last mile" in gas supply and utilization.

In 2018, the inter-provincial pipeline from Hangjin Banner in Inner Mongolia to Yinchuan was officially put into operation. In early 2023, the Yinchuan Ring High-Pressure Pipeline was completed, forming a closed loop. Simultaneously, the Yinchuan-Shizuishan pipeline reached Pingluo, and the Yinchuan-Wuzhong pipeline was extended to Litong District of Wuzhong City, gradually extending connections eastward, westward, southward, and northward. Behind these achievements lie the integration of technology and hard work, and determined efforts to tackle challenges. Currently, the long-distance and urban pipelines invested in and constructed by Hanas Group cover 16 counties (districts) in Ningxia and Inner Mongolia, forming an extensive interconnected natural gas network in Yinchuan City, Shizuishan City, and Wuzhong City. The Yanchi-Yinchuan Natural Gas Pipeline Project, currently under planning and design, will further boost energy supply for Yanchi, Ningdong, Lingwu, and surrounding areas of Yinchuan upon completion. Two decades of commitment and perseverance have built the most solid "foundation" for "Gasifying Ningxia".

Construction:

From "single gas supply" to "dual gas guarantee"

20 years of persistence has made gas filling difficult and gas shortages a thing of the past

The development of a region is always closely linked to its energy foundation, and the growth of an enterprise always progresses steadily by aligning with local strategies. Over the past 20 years, adhering to the highest construction standards, Hanas Group has connected to national trunk lines and expanded the autonomous region's backbone natural gas pipeline network, working diligently and forging ahead in line with the strategic direction of the "West-East Gas Transmission" distribution hub.

The Hangjin Banner-Yinchuan Natural Gas Pipeline Connection Project, a key project under the National Natural Gas Development Plan for the 13th Five-Year Plan period, was officially put into operation. This 285-kilometer pipeline links Hangjin Banner in Inner Mongolia with Yinchuan, enabling Ningxia to completely leave behind the era of relying on a single gas source and enter a new phase of energy security with "dual gas sources".

From "high carbon and low efficiency" to "carbon reduction and efficiency improvement"

Creating new energy advantages for the implementation of the "Strong Capital" strategy

For 20 years, Hanas Group has pursued a path of development that actively shoulders social responsibility, using the fruits of development to benefit people's livelihoods and leveraging prosperous livelihoods to promote further development. Guided by the development philosophy of "Gasifying Ningxia, Building a Livable Ningxia", it has built a natural gas pipeline network spanning over 300 kilometers inter-provincially, over 200 kilometers inter-city, and over 100 kilometers of urban ring pipelines. It has continuously expanded the reach of gas supply to every county and household. The designed annual gas transmission capacity has increased from 2 billion cubic meters to 6 billion cubic meters. The supply capacity can meet the gas demand of 1.5 million households in Yinchuan City by 2050, with prioritizing residential gas supply being the most distinctive feature of Hanas.

To support Yinchuan's development needs in enhancing economic leadership and factor aggregation, Hanas's natural gas pipeline network directly supplies industrial parks like those in Helan and Yongning. It has become a key energy asset serving the "Strong Capital City" strategy. The "low-carbon" transformation of its energy supply has facilitated "carbon reduction" in the "Six New" industries, creating new advantages for the green and low-carbon development of Ningxia's industry.

High mountains above, the red flag waves as we pass the strategic pass. Looking back on the journey, every step reflects the mission and responsibility shouldered by the Hanas people. Looking ahead, the path forward will undoubtedly be filled with the same dedication and perseverance of the Hanas people. Hanas Group will inextricably link its own development with that of Ningxia, serving Ningxia's economy and society with new drive and new actions to achieve new development and leaps forward.
