The signing ceremony for the preliminary design of the Hanas Putian LNG Terminal Project was successfully held

On the morning of July 18, 2021, the signing ceremony for the preliminary design of the terminal project of the Hanas Putian LNG project was held in Shanghai, marking a substantive step forward for the project. Ma Fuqiang, chairman of the group, Wang Shaobo, vice president and other group leaders attended the event.

Ma Fuqiang announced that the signing ceremony and kick-off meeting for the preliminary design of the Hanas Putian LNG Terminal Project were officially commencing. Kong Ansheng, general manager of Putian company, and Na Li, general manager of the Shanghai Branch of Technip Chemicals Engineering (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., signed the preliminary design contract for the Hanas Putian LNG Terminal Project respectively.

Ma Fuqiang said that the entire process of the LNG terminal project, from planning, negotiation, signing to commencement, was hard-won, embodying the hard work and dedication of relevant departments and carrying the ardent expectations of the people. The group has maintained a cooperative relationship with Technip for many years. They are not only good partners but also good friends. The Hanas Putian LNG Terminal is a key construction project at the national, provincial, and municipal levels. It is also a landmark project of Fujian-Ningxia cooperation. Furthermore, it is a key major project for Hanas to join hands with internationally renowned energy companies to build a global natural gas industry chain. After completion, the project will help improve energy security in Fujian, facilitate industrial transformation and upgrading, build coastal industrial clusters, further accelerate the construction of port areas, and inject strong momentum and provide solid support for Putian to accelerate the realization of high-quality development. He expressed the hope for a pleasant cooperation between the two sides, urging them to strictly control quality, focus on details, and build a first-class project as the core task, thereby laying a solid foundation for the project.
